Music for You is a unique residential Music Summer School for both adults and children.

Music for You Summer Schools 2012 features courses for both classical and jazz musicians.

Our week long programme of courses are aimed at music lovers who want to improve their musical ability in a relaxed, friendly environment, in beautiful rural Bedfordshire. The courses cater for beginner, intermediate and advanced musicians. Courses include;

What can you expect?

Our courses aim to provide the highest standards of musical teaching and creativity in a relaxed, informal environment where the only agenda is to ‘make music’ and have fun. You will be taught by some of the world’s finest musical tutors – all of them experts in their field and chosen for their friendly manner.

Our course fees include single and shared accommodation with internet access, excellent food (full board), access to the popular Shuttleworth Estate and the many social amenities at the college. Also included is free access to workshops and concerts throughout the week and full pastoral care to students under the age of eighteen. We offer good value for money and provide an excellent music course in safe, friendly surroundings.

 International Students

All international students are welcome at Music for You. We were pleased to welcome students from Sweden, Romania, Georgia, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Cyprus for the 2011 summer courses.

A sincere welcome to both regular and new students who will be attending the 2012 summer school courses. As with all Music for You activities the courses will be conducted in a relaxed atmosphere with some of the world’s finest tutors. Adults and children can enjoy a week of music making with others that share a common interest. I look forward to meeting you all in August.
