Fees

All fees are payable in full if you are to qualify for an early payment discount. Please pay bracketed figures on our payment chart if paying by cheque. Please make sure that you include all additional costs. 

If you wish to pay in installments please send a non-refundable registration fee of £100 to reserve your place. Deposits and further installments can only be paid by sending a cheque payable to 'Music for You Summer Schools'. All fees are liable on the acceptance of the registration form and must be paid in full by 1st August 2012.

It is the responsibility of each participant to take out personal insurance in the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances. No payment or parts of payment can be refunded and this is a non negotiable part of our terms and conditions.

All charges include tuition, meals and accommodation where appropriate. Additional nights are charged at £40 per night and include breakfast.

Participants are invited to attend all concerts performed by other Music for You courses free of charge. Individual instrument lessons are by personal arrangement with Music for You staff at an hourly rate of £30 hour. Lessons must be booked through Dawn Bradley-Buxton only.

Pastoral Care

It will be necessary for children aged 10 – 17 years of age during the course (or part of), to be allocated a member of our pastoral care staff. All staff are police checked and have been chosen for their experience in working with children and young adults. All children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the course, but can join in with daily activities and events.

We recognise that the safety of your child (children) is paramount and for this reason minors will be allocated a secure sleeping area. During the week there will be the opportunity for younger children to experience a range of activities including T- shirt painting, team sports, Taiko Drumming and singing.

Older members will be able to socialise in a more suitable area and have free entry to the evening concerts and events. Many teenagers from the across the UK attend our courses and thoroughly enjoy the music and aspect of the course. We appreciate the specific needs of young adults and they are valuable members of Music for You Summer Schools.

Any specific First Aid information must be written clearly on application and private consultations about your child can be made in complete confidence before the event. A 24 hour contact number is essential in the unlikely event you need to be contacted for an emergency.

All rules and Regulations stipulated by Music for You Summer Schools and Cannington College must be upheld or Music for You Summer Course has the right to ask individuals to leave the course. Parents and Guardians can contact their child at designated times in the week by phone to discuss their wellbeing and course events. Children can bring mobile telephones, but we will look after these for our younger course participants.

We want your children to have a safe, enjoyable and fun packed musical week with our caring staff and excellent tutors.

Non Residential Course Fees

If you wish to attend one of the Music for You Summer School Courses, but do wish to stay on site there is a substantial reduction in costs. You will be expected to leave site by 11.45 pm each day and arrive punctually for rehearsals. Please respect and uphold the terms and conditions as stated by Cannington College. Please remember to book additional meals if required.

Registration

If you wish to apply for section principal indicate Yes/No on the registration form. If yes you need to attend on Sunday 8th August for your audition.

All other musicians will be seated by Music for You Summer Schools and course directors.
Music for You Summer Schools reserve the right to exclude any person during the course if, in the opinion of the Course Directors, that person is not compatible with the general and enjoyment of the other course participants, or other guests staying at Cannington College .

Disclaimer- Please return form enclosing a cheque payable to Music for You Summer Schools to the address below. The balance of fees will be due on or before 1st August 2010. To qualify for a 10% early discount, fees must be paid in full by 1st June 2010. Upon acceptance of full or part payment or receipt the registration form, the named person (parent or guardian - if participant is under the age of 18) accept that the full fees are payable and understand that no refunds can be given by Music for You Summer Schools.

On filling in the registration form please indicate the paypal or cheque payment option.

A £35 cash deposit will be required for all keys and security passes at Cannington College. It will be reimbursed once the keys and key fobs are returned at the end of the week
