The Venue

Bicton is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. If you have never visited the East Devon coast then a treat awaits you. The college is used for agricultural courses in the academic term and is available to other students in vacations. When you arrive the beautiful lake and landscaped gardens will provide the ideal setting for your course. There is a choice of accommodation from standard to deluxe. The cafeteria, computer suite, swimming pool, bar, general store, practice rooms, games rooms and the beautiful Bicton Gardens provides something for everyone. We are confident you will enjoy your stay and we will make every effort to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

A sincere welcome to both regular and new students who will be attending this year’s 2008 summer school courses. I am delighted to announce that we are expanding the jazz course after a very memorable week in 2007. We are welcoming several new tutors for the jazz course this year. We are delighted to announce a fantastic new jazz singing course directed by Brigitte Beraha. As with all Music for You Summer School activities, the courses will be conducted in a relaxed atmosphere with some of the world’s finest tutors. Adults and children can enjoy a week of music making with others that share a common interest. I look forward to meeting you all in August.
